Bruker Daltonics primarily designs, manufactures, and distributes pioneering mass spectrometry (MS) instruments, such as matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight (MALDI-TOF), ion trap mass spectrometry (ITMS), magnetic resonance mass spectrometry (MRMS) and liquid chromatography (LC)-MS. Responsibilities

As a Field Service Engineer, your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Install, troubleshoot and maintain Mass spec products included software.
  • Identifies, analyzes and repairs product failures, orders replacement parts as required.
  • Provide basic operation & maintenance training to customers when required.
  • Resolve customer issues with hardware and software.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Escalate technical issues to factories as needed.
  • Escalate customer issues to appropriate managers.
  • Work closely with sales and application to provide service perspective to ensure continued growth and profitability of the businesses.
  • Qualifications

    To be successful for this position, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
  • Relevant experience in Field Service and/or Customer Service Support.
