Job Description

The Service Planning Project Manager ensures that Advanced Energy products are service-ready prior to customer release. This role requires close collaboration with program management, product marketing, design and test engineering, materials management, operations and services marketing.

Service-readiness includes:

  • Implementing product test and repair processes at global repair centers.

  • Ensuring essential Service personnel are trained to support product at AE’s global repair facilities.

  • Ensuring materials to support repair are identified.

  • Providing Engineering with design-for-serviceability requirements.
  • RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in new product development teams to create service-readiness plans (test/repair, materials, training, spares, service offerings).
