Regional Service Supervisor Medical Equipment ??Field-Based | Connaught & North Leinster ??Full-Time | Permanent Our client, a leading provider of medical equipment and healthcare solutions, is seeking an experiencedRegional Service Supervisor to lead and support a team of Field Service Engineers across Connaught and North Leinster. This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role combining technical service work with team supervision, customer engagement, and operational support. ?? The Role You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining medical equipment including: Medical beds and mattress systems Patient hoists Assisted baths Disinfection washers Across hospitals, nursing homes, and community healthcare settings. Alongside your own service itinerary, you willsupervise a small team of Field Service Engineers, support departmental objectives, and deputise for the Area Service Manager when required. ?? Key Responsibilities Deliver preventative and reactive maintenance in line with service procedures Supervise, support and mentor Field Service Engineers Assist with scheduling, forecasting and service planning Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and quality standards Liaise with service admin and customers regarding appointments and works Conduct engineer audits and performance reviews Support recruitment of new Field Service Engineers Assist with service contract renewals and asset lifecycle reviews Monitor stock, SLA performance and financial targets Act as deputy to Area Service Manager when required Participate in MDT assessments and continuous improvement initiatives ?? Requirements Essential: Mechanical or electrical engineering background Hands-on field service experience Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations Full Irish driving licence Excellent communication and customer service skills Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays Desirable: Engineering qualification (City & Guilds / ONC / HNC / similar) Previous experience supervising engineers Knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 systems ??
