The Opportunity

ROC Consulting is partnering with one of Australia's leading providers of water treatment equipment and solutions to recruit a Service Technician based in South Australia.

This role suits a hands-on technician who enjoys working across multiple sites, dealing directly with customers and maintaining a wide range of industrial water and chemical treatment systems. You'll join an established service team and gain exposure to varied equipment across multiple industries.

This is a Monday to Friday role with limited on-call, weekend and overnight regional work (typically 2-4 nights per month max).

This is a well-established Australian business with over 30 years of operation, specialising in the manufacture, service and maintenance of water treatment and chemical dosing equipment.

They service a broad customer base across mining, food & beverage, manufacturing, wineries, petrochemical and general industrial sectors. The company is known for high-quality equipment, reliable service delivery and a strong focus on employee development and work-life balance.

Salary & Benefits

  • $80,000 - $85,000 + super + fully maintained company vehicle

The Role

Reporting to the Service Manager and working closely with customers, your responsibilities will include:

  • Installation and maintenance of new and existing water treatment systems
  • Servicing customer sites across Adelaide and regional South Australia
  • Preventative and reactive maintenance of equipment
  • Installation and maintenance of chemical dosing equipment
  • Delivery of chemicals and equipment to customer sites
  • Diagnosing faults and recommending system upgrades or improvements
  • Completing accurate and timely service reports and documentation

Technical Focus / Speciality Areas

  • Industrial water treatment systems
  • Reverse osmosis (RO) and ultrafiltration (UF) systems, UV systems
  • Softeners
  • Chillers and wastewater equipment
  • Chemical dosing systems
  • Mechanical fault-finding and diagnostics
  • Customer-facing service and site-based troubleshooting

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Service technician experience within water or chemical treatment (any industry)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple sites
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
