Service Technician

Summary

: Responsible for service, repair and commissioning of various types of automated valves both in our shop and in the field. Shop work includes assembly & integration of valves and automation equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities  include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assemble valve/actuator packages

Perform functional test of all valve/actuator packages

Troubleshoot and repair various types of valve actuators on site or at customer site

Commission equipment at customer site

Communicate warranty issues to manufacturers

Provide proper documentation per job instructions

Interface and communicate effectively with customers

Maintain tools and equipment in proper manner

Maintain safe work procedures and safe work areas

Work effectively with others in a team environment
