With a network of strategically located branches across Australia, Water Dynamics services the Agricultural, Government, Industrial and Residential markets. We engage in significant project work which includes the design and installation of water management systems, supply of products to both retail and wholesale customers, along with maintenance, service and repair and support services.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our service and installation team in the Northern Territory , based out of Darwin/Yarrawonga NT . Your primary responsibility will be installing and servicing irrigation systems, including pop-up sprinklers , pumps, and related equipment for domestic and commercial projects.

Experience in irrigation is desirable but not essential—we provide full training and ongoing development. What we do need is a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to work on a variety of projects, sometimes requiring travel and overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

Working independently or alongside our experienced team, your day may include:

Installation and maintenance of domestic and commercial irrigation systems , including pop-up sprinklers

Installing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical faults (low voltage or higher depending on skill set)

Installation of irrigation controllers, pumps, solar panels, and submersible bores

Laying and servicing main lines, pipes, and sprinklers

Diagnosing and solving problems in the field

Accurate reporting and record keeping

Building strong customer relationships

Travel and overnight stays as required

About You

To be successful, you will have:

Experience as a technician or willingness to learn irrigation systems

Previous experience with irrigation/plumbing equipment (preferred but not essential)

Good communication, time management, and organisational skills

Ability to work outdoors in humid conditions and Darwin’s tropical heat

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A valid driver’s licence and a strong safety-first mindset
