Job Description

We have opportunities at our Goondiwindi branch for a Service Technician (Field). A varied role that will see working on a range of equipment across John Deere Agriculture equipment. This field-based role will entail from general service and repairs to major overhauls and new machine assembly.


You will get the opportunity to work on:

  • Tractors
  • Combine Harvesters
  • Sprayers
  • Cotton Pickers
  • Ride-on mowers and power tools

    • You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

  • Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • Previous experience of engine overhauls and major repairs including electrical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills.
  • A current and valid driver’s licence
  • A mature attitude and logical and methodical approach to your work which will enable you to work through problems in both a workshop and field environment.
