Service Worker I

Your Opportunity:

Alberta Health Services (AHS) is looking for a dependable, highly organized individual for the position of Service Worker I. This casual position is located at the Leduc Community Hospital. Reporting to the Manager of Environmental Services and directed by the Supervisors, the Service Worker I position is responsible for the cleaning & disinfection of equipment, wheelchairs and patient care areas, re-stocking of supplies, transporting of patients, specimens and supplies and equipment, in compliance with AHS and department policies, procedures and standards; as well as assisting Nursing staff as required. Physical requirements of this position include repetitive bending, kneeling, walking and standing for extended periods of time, lifting, pushing or pulling heavy and bulky items.Shift schedules may include a combination of Days, Evenings, Nights and Weekends shifts.
