Service Worker II

Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Perioperative Manager, the Service Woker II supports the nursing staff in the surgical suites by performing a blend of general support services roles in the OR and on Unit 23. Duties in the OR include but are not limited to theatre changeover - decontamination of soiled theatres, transportation and decanting of linens and garbage; case cart delivery from theatre to MDRD decontamination, communication of repairs identified, transfer of soiled linens and garbage and dirty case carts from theatre to respective decanting zones. Unit 23 and OR Unit Duties: emptying laundry hampers, restocking of linens, bedside supplies and assist with nursing as requested, address product returns from the operating rooms, restocking of the OR theatres as required, delivering specimens to the lab and transporting patients.
