Service Workshop / Mobile Technician

To diagnose and repair complex automotive issues and perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy construction machinery.

Responsibilities

• Keep up to date with technical information – available in Technical Service Bulletins and workshop manuals specifically in the areas of electrical and hydraulics.
• Inform the Service Manager Internal/Service Manager External of any additional work requirements.
• Instruct Apprentices on the correct trade practices and ensure a wide range of learning is made available to them.
• Ensure that seat and floor protector covers are utilized when necessary.
• Ensure that the machine is kept clean during and after repairs.
• Maintain uniforms in a clean and tidy manner at all times.
• Ensure that tools of trade and special tools are maintained and calibrated.
