Role Overview

The ServiceNow CPQ Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex product configuration models within the ServiceNow platform, leveraging Logic IO and CPQ capabilities. The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.


Must-Have Competencies

  • 3–5 years of experience in ServiceNow development/administration, with at least 1–2 years focused on CPQ or Product Model.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow Product Catalog, Order Management, and CSM.
  • Hands-on experience with LogicIO.
  • Knowledge of Boolean logic, constraint-based modeling, rule authoring, and configuration algorithms.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of data model, table structures, and CPQ-specific tables.
  • Ability to convert complex business/engineering requirements into logical rule structures.
  • Understanding of pricing structures, bill of materials, dependencies, and attribute configurations.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, integrations, and data mapping.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills.


Good-to-Have

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Experience with versioning tools like Git and CI/CD.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop product configuration models using the Logic IO Rules Engine.
  • Build and maintain constraints, rules, parameters, BOM structures, and configuration logic.
  • Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow CPQ product models, pricing structures, catalog items, and attribute-based configurations.
  • Build and manage quotes, order capture workflows, and approval processes within ServiceNow CPQ.
  • Collaborate with product owners to gather requirements and convert them into logical configuration models.
  • Configure pricing rules, discount logic, bundles, upsell/cross-sell rules, and guided selling workflows.
  • Integrate Logic IO with ServiceNow CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, or other CPQ/Order Management systems.
  • Optimize performance and maintain high-quality, reusable configuration components.
  • Conduct unit testing, scenario simulation, and troubleshooting to ensure correct functioning.
  • Support UAT, deployment activities, and production enhancements.
  • Document functional specifications, rule design, and best practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
