ServiceNow Developer

Job Function Summary

Millennium is looking to hire a seasoned ServiceNow Developer to join our ServiceNow team focusing on system automation, workflow development, and integrations with internal and external applications. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with ServiceNow workflows, system integrations, orchestration, databases/data modeling, SDLC methodology, Agile/SCRUM, development methodologies, test cases, test execution and reporting.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Develop new ServiceNow workflows and automation from business requirements and/or technical design documents

  • Integrate systems to support workflow automation

  • Maintain consistent delivery of application solutions throughout the product suite by following development standards and the architecture framework

  • Work with stakeholders to design scalable solutions that meet business requirements and can be easily maintained

  • Develop and manage platform code, user interface, and third-party integration components 

  • Recognize and report issues before they adversely impact the testing schedule and projects

  • Coordinate/facilitate load testing and performance testing activities for our platform

  • Develop necessary development documentation as needed (e.g. technical design, developer notes, etc.)

  • Participate in daily operations of ServiceNow team

    • Qualifications/Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

  • Minimum 8 years of ServiceNow development experience

  • 8+ years of JavaScript development experience

  • 8+ years ofWeb technology experience (REST, Web Services, XML, Ajax, Python)

  • Experience with Source Control Software – GitHub

  • Experience with the SDLC including Requirements Analysis, Design, Installation, Development, Testing (application code and user acceptance), and Deployment

  • Experience optimizing ServiceNow forms for chatbots

  • Strong technical documentation skills

  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach

  • Attention to details and strong ownership of work

  • ITIL Certification is a plus

  • SQL experience is highly desired
