The ServiceNow Now Assist Specialist plays a key role in enabling AI‑powered automation across the ServiceNow platform. This role is responsible for configuring and optimizing generative‑AI capabilities such as summarization, content generation, conversational intelligence, and workflow automation driven by artificial intelligence.

ServiceNow Now Assist leverages ServiceNow’s domain‑specific Large Language Models (LLMs) along with integrations such as Azure Open AI to enhance ITSM and Creator Workflows, transforming how organizations deliver intelligent digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and implement Now Assist skills such as incident summarization, chat summarization, and automated resolution note generation .
  • Deploy and optimize AI‑driven automation across ITSM and Creator Workflows using both out‑of‑the‑box and custom-built Now Assist capabilities.
  • Build, configure, and enhance multi‑skill AI Agents to support complex, end‑to‑end automation use cases.
  • Enable and enhance conversational self‑service using ServiceNow Virtual Agent , NLU, and AI‑based dialog flows.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into AI‑enabled workflow solutions .
  • Continuously evaluate and improve AI performance, automation accuracy, and process efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands‑on experience with core ServiceNow modules, including ITSM , Integrations , Flow Designer , and Catalog Items .
  • Strong working knowledge of Now Assist capabilities such as:
  • AI-based summarization
  • Content generation
  • Sentiment analysis
  • Conversational AI
  • Experience with AI Agents and text‑to‑flow or text‑to‑code automation.
  • Strong analytical thinking with expertise in workflow design , automation mapping, and process optimization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable automation solutions.
