Service Now GRC Technical Consultant
Location: India (Remote / Hybrid)
Important: This role requires readiness to cross-train on other enterprise GRC platforms (such as IBM Open Pages) in addition to Service Now, based on project requirements.
About the Role
At Timus Consulting Services, we deliver hands-on, deeply technical GRC platform implementations for global enterprise clients across banking, financial services, energy, and other regulated industries.
This is NOT a management or people-lead role.
We are looking for a core technical Service Now GRC Consultant who enjoys working inside the platform—implementation, configuration, customization, upgrades, and technical troubleshooting.

Your Role (Purely Technical)
As a Service Now GRC Technical Consultant, you will work directly on implementation and technical delivery, not team management or program governance.
Your focus will be:
- Service Now GRC module implementation
- Platform configuration & customization
- Backend technical work
- Upgrades and remediation
- Cross-training on Open Pages when required
Key Responsibilities (Hands-On & Technical)
End-to-end implementation of Service Now GRC modules, including:
- Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
- Policy & Compliance Management (PCM)
- Risk Management & Audit Management
- Business Continuity Management (BCM)
- Sec Ops (Vulnerability Response, Incident Response)
Hands-on configuration:
- Tables, forms, fields, relationships
- Flow Designer and workflows
- Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies
- Notifications, approvals, access controls
Backend & technical development:
- Script Includes and advanced scripting
- REST APIs and Integration Hub
- Import Sets, Transform Maps, data migration
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting
Service Now upgrades & remediation:
- Platform upgrades and patching
- Customization impact analysis
- Regression testing and fixes
- Customization & extension of out-of-the-box Service Now GRC functionality
- Cross-training and delivery support on other GRC platforms (e.g., IBM Open Pages) as required by projects
- Support UAT, go-live, and post-production stabilization
- Maintain technical documentation and configuration artifacts
What This Role Is NOT

This is a hands-on technical Service Now GRC consultant role.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Service Now GRC implementations
- Strong experience across multiple Service Now GRC modules
- Solid understanding of Service Now platform architecture
- Proven experience in backend scripting and customizations
- Experience with Service Now upgrades and technical remediation
- Willingness to cross-train on IBM Open Pages or other GRC platforms
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills for global client work
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
Service Now certifications (IRM, Sec Ops, CSA, CAD) are a plus, but hands-on delivery experience matters more.
