Job Description for HRSD - Lead SME


· Lead the end-to-end HRSD implementation, including solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment for:

  • HR Case Management
  • Knowledge Management
  • Employee Center / Employee Center Pro
  • Lifecycle Events / Journeys
  • Document Management
  • Employee Relations

· Serve as the primary HRSD subject matter expert, providing guidance to developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.

· Partner with HR business teams to translate functional requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.

· Define and enforce solution architecture, design standards, and best practices for HRSD modules.

· Oversee configuration of HR Services, Case templates, HR topics, Knowledge articles, and Lifecycle Event setups.

· Collaborate with technical teams to integrate ServiceNow HRSD with enterprise HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).

· Conduct design workshops, process walkthroughs, and ensure documentation of business and technical requirements.

· Review and approve solution design documents, test plans, and deployment deliverables.

· Support change management, user enablement, and adoption of HRSD solutions across the organization.


Required Skills and Experience:

· 8+ years of overall ServiceNow experience, with 4+ years in HRSD implementations.

· Proven track record in leading full lifecycle HRSD deployments including HR Case, Knowledge, Employee Center, Lifecycle Events, and Document Management.

· Strong understanding of HR processes, service delivery models, and employee experience strategies.

· Hands-on expertise with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Scoped Applications, and Portal Configuration.

· Ability to design complex HR workflows, case categorization, and employee journeys.

· Experience in stakeholder management, requirement validation, and executive reporting.

· Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing small technical or functional teams.

· ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and HRSD Implementation Specialist certifications required.

· ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or Employee Center Specialist certification preferred.
