Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of ITOM modules, including Discovery, Event Management, Orchestration, and Service Mapping.
- Configure and integrate ServiceNow with external monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix) for alert ingestion and proactive incident management.
- Develop workflows, scripts, and custom integrations to automate routine tasks and enhance platform efficiency.
- Perform CMDB population, normalization, and health checks to ensure data accuracy and trust.
- Troubleshoot complex ITOM issues, conduct POCs, and provide post-implementation support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align ITOM solutions with business missions and DevOps/SRE practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 5-8 years of ServiceNow experience, including 4+ years in ITOM implementations.
- Hands-on experience with CMDB fundamentals and IT operations processes.
- Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools and integrations.
Preferred Skills and Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITOM (CIS-ITOM).
- CIS-ITSM or related certifications.
- Expertise in JavaScript, AJAX, REST/SOAP APIs, and workflow automation.
- Agile experience and strong technical leadership skills.
