**Machine Operator**
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Machine Operator** to support manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Operate and monitor production machines in accordance with established procedures and safety standards
+ Inspect finished products to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
+ Make machine adjustments and perform basic troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance
+ Load raw materials and remove finished products as required
+ Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of equipment
+ Accurately complete production and quality documentation
+ Communicate equipment issues or production delays to supervision
+ Follow all safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards
**Required Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Prior experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment preferred
+ Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety rules, and quality standards
+ Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
+ Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
+ Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience in glass, automotive, or industrial manufacturing
+ Forklift or material handling experience
+ Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
**Work Environment**
+ Industrial manufacturing setting
+ Exposure to noise, heat, and moving machinery
+ Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Versailles, KY.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
