Freelance: Minimum 14 Weeks
Rate: £300 per day CIS
Location: Leiston, Suffolk We are currently searching for a Setting Out Engineer for a face paced Earthworks and Drainage project in Leiston. You will be working for a subcontractor who specialises in these packages, working alongside the principal contractor on the scheme.
The Role:
Setting out earthworks and drainage works using GPS, total station and levels in line with drawings and specifications
Establishing and maintaining site control, datums and gridlines for bulk earthworks, attenuation and drainage runs
Carrying out quality checks and surveys to verify line, level and formation tolerances
Managing testing regimes, including compaction, CBR, permeability and pressure testing in accordance with specs
Recording and reviewing QA documentation, test results, ITPs and inspection records for handover <...
