Job Description
The Settlement & Reconciliation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely settlement of all financial transactions. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity, resolving discrepancies, and supporting smooth operational processes within the organization.

- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly settlement and reconciliation activities
- Reconcile transactions across internal systems, banks, payment gateways, and partners
- Monitor settlement cycles and ensure timely fund movements
- Identify, investigate, and resolve reconciliation breaks and discrepancies
- Prepare reconciliation statements, reports, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, and external partners to resolve settlement issues
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in settlement, reconciliation, or financial operations
- Previous experience in fintech, banking, or payments industry is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and coordination skills
