SharePoint Engineer (NV2)

Overview

Role Purpose. The SharePoint Engineer is responsible for leading the refresh, integration, assurance, and ongoing technical governance of SharePoint environments supporting deployed and secure Defence ICT operations. The role provides senior technical expertise to ensure SharePoint platforms remain secure, resilient, performant, and aligned with Defence operational, security, and compliance requirements. Operating within complex and constrained environments, the SharePoint Engineer will assess current-state platforms, define future-state refresh strategies, and ensure SharePoint solutions integrate seamlessly with other Defence ICT systems. The role requires strong engineering discipline, documentation capability, and the ability to work collaboratively with Defence stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and security authorities.
