Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the upgrade from SharePoint Server 2016 to SharePoint Server Subscription Edition, including developing and submitting a detailed work plan.
  • Provide weekly written status reports on progress, risks, issues and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, system owners, and subject matter experts to collect and validate technical documentation.
  • Assess the current environment by inventorying site collections, customizations and third‑party tools, and identifying unsupported features or configurations.
  • Validate hardware and software compatibility (OS, SQL Server and related components).
  • Perform backups of the SharePoint 2016 farm and associated databases.
