Shaw Mechanical is seeking a Sheet Metal Foreman to join our Longwood, FL team.
How are you successful in this role?
As a Sheet Metal Foreman duties and responsibilities include but not limited to immediately contacting the general contractor PM or Superintendent informing them that the project is proceeding. Arrange a site visit. From the start of the project must develop a good working relationship with GC.
In this role, you will ensure Job File includes: clean set of plans and specs, final scope and proposal, estimate cost breakdown and schedule. Conduct a turnover meeting. Visit and investigate job site conditions. Request submittals for all equipment, specialty items, and controls. Collect all available drawings. Perform take-offs and review problem areas. Review foreman labor and progress in project.
What are we looking for?
+ Five (5) years of relevant work experience is required.
+ Strong communication (oral and written) and customer service skills are required.
+ High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
