Job Description

This position is responsible for daily set-up and operations of CNC laser cutting machines used in production of sheet metal and plate parts. Fabricate sheet metal products and equipment, such as ducts, control boxes, covers, brackets, and plates to name a few. Work will involve set up and operation of Amada CNC laser cutting machines to produce sheet metal parts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Perform daily machine startup and shut-down procedure on CNC cutting equipment.

  • Stage raw material at each work center for production processing.

  • Load/unload materials and parts finish from CNC cutting equipment to maintain production schedule.

  • Perform maintenance and cleaning of production equipment and work area in accordance with company and manufacturers machine recommendations.

  • Perform machine alignment procedure and/or optical cleaning to keep CNC cutting equipment at peak operating performance.
