The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of livestock management, particularly sheep, and demonstrate a strong commitment to animal welfare. This role requires a hands-on approach to shepherding, ensuring the health and productivity of the flock while developing effective management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily care of sheep flocks, including feeding, watering, and monitoring health and behavior.
• Implement breeding programs and manage the reproduction process for optimal herd growth.
• Regularly inspect animals for signs of illness or distress and coordinate veterinary care as necessary.
• Manage grazing and pasture land to ensure sustainable feeding practices.
