SHEQ Advisor

United Infrastructure are currently looking for a SHEQ Advisor to provide invaluable health and safety support and advice to teams undertaking works on behalf of Yorkshire Water. Your role as SHEQ Advisor will involve:

• Undertaking periodic risk assessments and implementing more robust procedures when necessary
• Providing specialist SHEQ advice to colleagues / subcontractors
• Ensuring contracts are compliant and that positive behaviours are embedded in the day to day works of our operational teams

Interpersonal, Supervisory or Management

• Good inter-personal skills with proven skills in coaching and motivating people 
• Ability to communicate and influence effectively at all organisational levels (including Senior Managers) 
• Ability to recommend preventative action, develop new initiatives and co-ordinate or ensure their implementation
