About the Role The Shift Coordinator (SC) will be responsible for all the associated duties described below to support plant business needs. This role will serve as the key link between the plant operating area the SC is assigned, the maintenance/electrical group, and plant management to ensure the most appropriate resources are engaged in problem resolution and the operating area is meeting safety, quality, and production goals. It is the responsibility of the SC to take general direction from the area manager game plans and coordinate, delegate, and follow up on the efforts of the area technicians to meet those objectives. In the absence of specific direction, the SC has the responsibility for developing a game plan to avoid or overcome issues.
