Description of Position
This position entails being responsible for coordinating the
administrative and operation activities for KGC nursing service for the
designated shift in the absence of the Patient Care Coordinator (PCC), Director
of Nursing (DON), and Managing Director. The Shift Coordinator carries out (1) planning/organizing, (2)
directing/implementing, (3) supervising, (4) communicating, and (5) evaluating
functions to promote efficient operations of the Nursing Service for their shift
in accordance with established standards, policies, procedure, legal,
contractual, and regulatory requirements.
