Job Description

Responsible for managing end-to-end production activities during the

assigned shift to ensure target achievement, quality compliance, safe

operations, and effective manpower utilization as per production plans and

management instructions.


Key Responsibilities Take charge of complete production operations during the assigned shift.

Ensure achievement of shift-wise production targets in line with daily

production plans.

Monitor milling, packing, and material handling activities to ensure

smooth workflow.

Ensure adherence to product quality parameters and process discipline

during the shift.

Coordinate with milling, quality, maintenance, and utilities teams to

resolve operational issues.

Ensure proper start-up, changeover, and shutdown procedures are

followed during the shift.

Monitor machine performance, downtime, and losses and report

deviations immediately.

Ensure correct handling and usage of raw materials, WIP, and packing

materials.

Supervise manpower deployment, attendance, discipline, and productivity

during the shift.

Enforce safety rules, PPE usage, and safe work practices across all shift

activities.

Maintain housekeeping, hygiene, and 5S standards in all production areas.

Prepare and submit shift production reports, downtime logs, and incident

reports.

Escalate breakdowns, quality deviations, accidents, or abnormal situations

without delay.

Train and guide shift staff on SOPs, safety practices, and quality

requirements.

Ensure proper shift handover with clear communication of pending issues

and instructions.


Requirements

Qualifications & Experience Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Industrial


Engineering

ITI with relevant production experience may also be considered

5–10 years of experience in production operations

Prior experience as Shift Supervisor / Senior Operator preferred

Exposure to flour mill or food processing industry is an added advantage
