Summary/Objective
Condado Shift Leaders assist the restaurant management team in executing restaurant operations during scheduled shifts. You will deploy team members and delegate tasks so that team members can create and maintain maniacal hospitality, where everything matters.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational
- Ensures the restaurant is completely set and ready at 10:45am, and those conditions remain the same all the way until we close
- Completes opening, daily and closing shift procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures including cash-drawer balancing
- Writing schedules, considering team member strengths and weaknesses along with business trends
- May assist with accurate weekly inventory
- Participate/lead pre-shift meetings with team, building engagement, knowledge and teamwork.
- Temp and taste all food items each shift. We take pride in all food we serve. We ensure accuracy and quality.
- Holds themselves and team accountable to operational standards and policies, championing excellence always
- Communicate shift summary with store management, including cash discrepancies, FOH and BOH employee discounts, guest and/or employee issues.
- Supervision of side work for all roles

Supervising & Coaching
- Be the example of providing maniacal hospitality, where everything matters.
- Maintain a positive attitude and restaurant atmosphere.
- Assist in training new team members in service standards, procedures and policies.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team is organized and focused during shift.
- Holds themselves and team accountable for Condado standards, values, and behaviors – championing excellence.
- Provide guidance, training and support to enhance team member performance and professionalism per shift.
- Is a good learner, accepts feedback, and seeks out personal & professional growth.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year restaurant experience required
- ServSafe Certification preferred
- Passion for tacos, tequila, and great service
- Be willing to work nights & weekends

- Maintains hands-on knowledge of all restaurant roles and steps in regularly to perform various responsibilities as business needs dictate
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this position, the team member is required to stand or walk for hours at a time up to 4-8 hours.
- Team members will continuously be performing hand and wrist work including grasping and bending and twisting but rarely fine hand manipulation.
- Team members will seldom kneel, squat or climb stairs.
- Team members will continuously lift or carry 0-35 pounds, occasionally lift or carry 36-50 pounds and rarely lift or carry over 50 pounds.
