Shipping Operator

For an
international trading company active in metals and raw materials
, we are looking for a
Shipping Operator
to join the Shipping team.

Main Responsibilities

• Support and contribute to the
  development and optimization of internal business processes
  , with a scope extending beyond standard shipping activities;
• Work closely with traders, supporting them from
  deal structuring through execution
  ;
• Evaluate, negotiate and manage
  freight rates and shipping contractual clauses
  in line with commercial needs;
• Coordinate shipping operations, ensuring accurate and timely execution;
• Further responsibilities will be defined during the interview process.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience
  in the shipping industry;
• Experience within a
  trading environment
  is strongly preferred;
• Knowledge of the metals and/or steel sector
