Job Description
Reports to the onsite Warehouse Manager. This position is responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments in a warehouse, including receiving deliveries, verifying items against packing slips, storing inventory, preparing orders for shipment, generating shipping labels, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions, ensuring timely delivery of products while minimizing errors and damages.
Responsibilities Include
Print shipping labels, packing slips, customer orders, and Bills of Lading (BOL)
Verify accuracy in shipment confirmations for proper invoicing
Daily scanning of end of day documents
Contacting freight lines for pickup and delivery
Adding freight charges to orders
Hard file and digital file maintenance
Error detection on orders
Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have
Minimum of 6 months warehouse experience, distribution, and/or logistics experience (preferred)
High School Diploma or GED
Documented computer skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
