Shop Hand

Vertex is growing, and we're looking for a Shop Hand to join our Bonnyville, Alberta team. We're seeking a local candidate from the Bonnyville area.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Moving material in an organized fashion
• Handling materials within the shop and outdoors
• Preparing or assisting with parts to be welded
• Assist in moving bins and dumping bins
• Assisting welders and mechanics with miscellaneous duties as requested
• Operating of basic hand tools and powered hand tools
• Pressure washing trucks, trailers, and equipment
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment at all times
  

Candidate Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean commercial abstract
• Mechanical knowledge background 
• Excellent organizational skills
• Self-motivated with an attention to detail
