Shopify Architect

The Shopify Architect will design and lead the technical aspects of migrating websites from BigCommerce to Shopify. This role involves managing integrations, customizing the Shopify platform, and working closely with project teams to meet business requirements.

Objectives of the Role :

• Design and implement technical solutions for migrating e-commerce platforms from BigCommerce to Shopify.

• Ensure seamless integration and customization of Shopify stores to meet business needs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and guide the integration of BigCommerce data (products, customers, orders, etc.) with Shopify.
• Develop and implement custom solutions and integrations using Shopify's API, private and public apps, and other tools.
• Ensure designs adhere to Shopify best practices and meet business needs.
• Create technical design specifications and oversee development, validation, and deployment plans.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on Shopify features and functionalities.
• Provide training and support to the client's team to help them adapt to the new Shopify platform.
• Ensure SEO retention and optimization during the migration, including adjusting site architecture, link paths, and URLs.
• Knowledge of web development principles, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant programming languages.
• Proficiency in both backend and frontend Shopify development.
• Shopify platform and Liquid templating language.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, particularly BigCommerce and Shopify.
• Experience range 12 to 16 years
• Notice period -immediate to 45 days
