Role Overview

We are looking for a Shopify Developer who can actually build and ship production-ready Shopify websites, working with our brand/visual designer. This is a hands-on implementation role. You will be responsible for turning designs / visual language into a fast, stable, live Shopify store, and maintaining it post-launch.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify Build & Theme Customisation

• Implement Shopify websites for Mirnest and Veora Gifting using existing themes.
• Customise themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Translate Figma / design files into clean, responsive Shopify pages.

Core Pages

• Build and customise:
• Homepage
• Collection pages
• Product detail pages (PDPs)
• Static pages (About, FAQs, Contact, Corporate Enquiries)
• Ensure mobile-first, responsive behaviour.

Functionality & Apps

• Integrate and configure Shopify apps (reviews, bundles, subscriptions, upsells, forms, analytics, etc.).
• Implement B2B enquiry flows (forms, hidden pricing, catalogue access if needed).
• Handle checkout configuration, payment gateways, shipping rules, and tax setup.

Performance & Reliability

• Optimise site speed and performance.
• Ensure clean code, minimal app bloat, and stable releases.
• Debug issues quickly and reliably.

Post-Launch Support

• Ongoing updates, bug fixes, and feature additions.
• Support seasonal launches, new products, and content updates.
• Maintain backups and staging workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development (mandatory).
• Strong experience with Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proven experience customising Shopify themes beyond cosmetic changes.
• Experience integrating and managing Shopify apps.
• Strong understanding of Shopify admin, checkout, payments, shipping, and taxes.
• Experience launching live production stores (not just demos).

Mandatory Proof (No Exceptions)

Applicants must share:

• 2–4 live Shopify websites they personally built or heavily customised.
• Clear explanation of:
• What theme was used
• What was customised
• What apps were integrated

Applications without live Shopify links will not be considered.

Nice to Have

• Experience with premium / lifestyle / D2C brands.
• Experience supporting both B2C and B2B Shopify flows.
• Familiarity with performance optimisation and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience working alongside designers (not fighting them).
