JOB DESCRIPTION – SHOWROOM MANAGER (Jewellery Retail)

Position: Showroom Manager

Role Summary

The Showroom Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day showroom operations, driving sales performance, ensuring excellent customer experience, and managing staff effectively. The role demands strong leadership, operational control, and deep exposure to jewellery retail operations while maintaining brand standards and compliance.


Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily showroom operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.

  • Drive sales targets through effective planning, customer engagement, and conversion strategies.

  • Monitor showroom performance and implement action plans to improve revenue and footfall.

  • Ensure attractive product displays and maintain high visual merchandising standards.

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate showroom staff to achieve individual and team targets.

  • Prepare staff schedules and manage shift planning during peak and busy hours.

  • Handle staff discipline, attendance, and day-to-day operational issues.

  • Foster a positive, customer-centric store culture.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner.

  • Build long-term relationships with repeat and high-value customers.

  • Ensure adherence to customer service standards at all times.

  • Oversee inventory control, stock movement, and reconciliation.

  • Ensure accurate maintenance of sales records, invoices, and transaction documentation.

  • Coordinate with backend teams for stock replenishment and product availability.

  • Ensure showroom security, safety procedures, and asset protection.

  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales and stock reports.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, store standards, and security protocols.

  • Adhere to jewellery industry regulations, documentation, and audit requirements.

  • Maintain proper records and documentation as per company guidelines.

  • Train, guide, and mentor team members to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.

  • Support onboarding and continuous development of showroom staff.

  • Promote teamwork, discipline, and professional conduct within the store.

Eligibility & Experience

  • Any Degree from a recognized institution.

  • 3–5 years or more experience as a Showroom Manager / Store Manager in jewellery retail is strongly preferred.

  • Prior exposure to jewellery sales, inventory handling, and showroom operations is mandatory.
