Showroom In-Charge for a decorative panels brand (e.g., laminates, veneers, PVC, or 3D wall panels) acts as a high-level consultant and operational leader. They bridge the gap between technical material knowledge and luxury interior design to drive business growth. Specialized Responsibilities Network & Partnership Building: Actively identifies and onboard new resellers. They build deep relationships with architects, interior designers, and contractors to ensure the brand's panels are specified in high-value projects. Consultative Design Support: Conducts technical discussions and product presentations, advising clients on material selection (e.g., MDF, ACP, or PVC) based on their specific site conditions, like moisture or fire resistance. Showroom Curation (Visual Merchandising): They ensure all swatches and samples are updated and organized to reflect current trends, such as biophilic (nature-inspired) designs and earthy textures. Omnichannel & Tech Integration: Manages interactive digital catalogs and AR visualization tools that help customers see how panels will look in their own spaces. Project & Order Management: Coordinates with production, dispatch, and installation teams to ensure smooth delivery for large-scale orders. They also track client enquiries and maintain CRM databases for follow-up. Core Skills & Expertise Material Expertise: In-depth knowledge of decorative surfaces, including veneers, stone-look panels, and eco-friendly/recycled materials. Design Proficiency: Ability to interpret architectural drawings and sometimes use software to propose customized layout solutions. Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and leadership abilities to motivate a diverse team. Business Acumen: Strong sales forecasting, credit control, and budget management skills to ensure showroom profitability Requirements Experience: Generally 37+ years in building materials, luxury surfaces, or interior products. Education: A Bachelors or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Marketing/Business Administration is preferred. Industry Networks: A proven existing network of architects and interior designers is preferred. Personal Presence: High level of professionalism and the ability to confidently present to high-net-worth (HNI) clients and institutional buyers. Benefits Salary Plus Incentives
