Shunter

We are currently hiring for an experienced shunter for our client in Vaughan, ON.

Location: Vaughan, ON

Shift- Afternoon
Time- 4:00 pm to 1:30 am

Job Responsibilities:

• Move and position trailers, containers, and trucks within the yard as directed.
  
• Perform regular yard checks to monitor trailer locations.
  
• Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and yard staff to ensure efficient flow of equipment.
  
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of shunt trucks/trailers.
  
• Complete basic paperwork and maintain accurate records.
  
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents or delays.

Job Requirements:

• Valid drivers license.
• Clean Abstract and CVOR and a criminal background check are required.
• Prior experience of 2-3 years as a shunter is a requirement.
