Sign Language Interpreter

Summary of Position:

•    An effective Sign Language Interpreter plays an integral role in the successful implementation of After School Matters programs.


• The Sign Language Interpreter is responsible for facilitating communication in order to allow deaf & hard of hearing teens fully participate in After School Matters programs citywide.  This position does not guarantee a specific number of assigned hours.

Assignments are based on the needs of teens as determined by the Disability Support Coordinator.     Major Duties and Responsibilities:
