Job Description

Position Purpose

The Finance Controller is responsible for complete accounting for sites, final handling of exports documents and centralised monitoring of bank accounts.


Strategic Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision of day to day activities to ensure timely & accurate accounting

  • Ensure timely Statutory & Audit compliance

  • Ensure centralized handling of bank accounts

  • Monitor the delivery of export document to customer and outstanding

  • Keep track of current indirect taxation policies and update the team about the recent developments in taxation

  • Maintain adequate financial records for sites

    • Operational Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily checking of Journal, Bank and cash Voucher to ensure accurate accounting, correct GL and Cost center

  • Ensure timely payment to internal/external Customer

  • Ensure timely dispatch of export document to customer & immediate clearing after receipt of pmt.

  • Daily clubbing Bank CMS report and bank statement and updating on SAP

  • Daily Bank reconciliation on centralized basis by minimum pending entry along with clearing of open item

  • Monitor bank charges as per PI’s agreement with the bank

  • Monitor GI/IR and ensure continuous reduction in the pending invoice

  • Conduct physical verification of fixed assets/inventory, identifying usable/unusable assets and tagging

  • Responsible for Compliance activities such as Timely statutry compliance to all pertaining to site
    Prper filing of documentation
    Cmpliance with all indirect taxation policies applicable for the business

  • Responsible for Reporting activities such as Prepare mnthly profitability reports for site
    Manage preparatin of reports on indirect taxes paid
    Prepare weekly exprt sheet and outstanding for better fund planning
    Ensure mnthly fund planning for site

  • Contribute to budgetary controls within the area of responsibility Steer, define and organize all kind of required support from internal (PI) and external sources

  • Contribute to the management of external cooperation

    Master in Commerce

    Work Experience


    8-10 years in Corporate Finance
