Site Director

Are you experienced within a senior operational logistics role? GXO Logistics is continuously expanding! We are currently actively searching for an experienced Site Director to manage our state-of-art logistics centre in Bremen. Would you be interested in a role where you can make a real impact?

Our Bremen facility is a high-tech, automated warehouse spanning 230,000 square meters. We deliver comprehensive logistics solutions, including value-added services and distribution across wholesale, retail, e-commerce, and marketplaces.

Main tasks:

• You are responsible for all activities on site, ensuring continuous business growth and long-term relationships with our customer


• Promote the development and implementation of all activities at the location


• Lead initiatives to effectively meet or exceed requirements, and customer expectations


• Manage a large team of +400 FTEs (there is already expected further growth in number)


• You create annual site plans, interim reports, and reports directly to management


• You prepare the entity's budget and manage P&L

Requirements:

• You have a wide logistics background, preferably in automated logistics, distribution centres, warehouse, or stockroom


• You possess solid experience in managing large logistics operations


• You can lead change processes to increase performance, productivity, and flexibility


• You are great in communication, self-driven, resilient and able to thrive in a challenging environment


• You like to work in a diverse and international environment, and you get the best out of people


• You know how to ensure the balance between interests of the company, customer, and our people


• You speak both German and English at fluent level
