Job Description - Site Engineer - Electrical )# | | || --- | --- || Site Engineer - Electrical - The **HumeLink Project** is a landmark 500kV transmission line development strengthening Australia’s energy grid and supporting large‑scale renewable integration. We're seeking an **Electrical Site Engineer** to join the site delivery team on a FIFO 10:4 roster, supporting safe and efficient execution of high‑voltage construction activities across regional NSW. This is a hands-on, site‑focused engineering role ideal for someone who enjoys being on the ground, solving technical challenges, and working closely with construction teams. **What You’ll Do** * Support daily electrical construction activities across transmission line and substation interfaces * Review electrical drawings, schematics, SLDs, and technical documentation * Assist with electrical RFIs and resolve technical issues on site * Conduct inspections and verification of: + HV foundations & earthing + Conduit and cable installations + Electrical fit-out and equipment placement + HV stringing and conductor interfaces * Help prepare for testing and commissioning activities * Work closely with supervisors, subcontractors, and construction teams * Maintain daily site records, ITPs/ITRs, installation checklists, and QA documentation * Participate in daily pre-starts and promote safe electrical work practices * Contribute to weekly and 3‑week lookahead planning, progress reports, and construction tracking * Ensure electrical works meet Australian standards, design requirements, and project quality expectations **What You’ll Bring** * Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar) * 2–4 years’ site-based experience in electrical, HV, utilities, or infrastructure construction * Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schematics, and SLDs * Strong understanding of HV installation and electrical safety practices * Strong problem-solving and communication skills * Able to work FIFO on a **10/4 roster** **Why You’ll Want to Work on HumeLink** * Be part of a **nation-shaping 500kV transmission project** * FIFO 10:4 roster – excellent lifestyle balance * Strong career pathways into HV Testing, Commissioning, Project Engineering, and Construction Management * Work with a high-performing team delivering critical infrastructure * Long-term pipeline of work * Supportive team environment with a strong safety focus **Apply Now** If you’re an Electrical Site Engineer seeking an exciting FIFO opportunity on a major infrastructure project, we’d love to hear from you.
