Site Engineer

About Role

The Senior Site Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end on-site execution of Frido retail stores across multiple cities . The role involves close coordination with contractors, consultants, mall authorities, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and as per approved drawings and quality standards . The candidate will also be responsible for daily and weekly project reporting , approvals, and on-ground issue resolution.

Location: Pune / Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution & Coordination

• Oversee day-to-day site execution of retail store fit-outs across different locations.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and timelines.
• Assist contractors in obtaining drawing approvals, method approvals, and NOCs from consultants and mall management teams.
• Ensure compliance with mall guidelines, safety norms, and statutory requirements at site.

Drawings & Approvals

• Review architectural, civil, electrical, HVAC, signage, and shopfront drawings before execution.
• Coordinate with designers and consultants to close drawing comments and revisions .
• Track approval status and proactively follow up to avoid execution delays.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare and circulate daily site progress reports with photographs.
• Compile weekly project execution reports , highlighting progress, risks, delays, and action plans. (Gantt Chart)
• Maintain site records including drawings, approvals, BOQs, measurements, and material logs.

Quality, Time & Cost Control

• Ensure work execution meets Frido quality standards and brand guidelines .
• Monitor project schedules and flag potential delays with mitigation plans.
• Assist in verifying contractor bills, measurements, and work completion certificates.

Travel & Multi-site Management

• Travel frequently between cities to monitor multiple store projects simultaneously.
• Act as Frido’s on-ground representative at project sites.

Desired Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of retail fit-out execution (mall projects preferred).
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders (contractors, consultants, mall teams).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and MEP drawings .
• Good documentation and reporting skills (MS Excel, Word, email communication).
• Problem-solving mindset with hands-on site approach.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / B.E. Civil Engineering / Architecture (preferred).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• MS Excel
• MS Project / Asana
