Site Engineer Phase A

You have a challenging mission for:

The deployment of Fiber Optic Networks for Phase A / Backbone role is based on the city of Heraklion and is responsible to supervise progress across the construction sites Around Crete.

What will you do:

• Subcontractors’ supervision and coordination


• Monitor and evaluation of all subcontractor teams´ daily activities and close pendings


• Keep track of remaining resources and materials inventory


• Carry out stocktaking and quality checks in warehouses 


• Report to the Top Management regarding the projects´ status.


• Validate subcontractors’ certifications and monthly bills


• Coordinate actions and surveys with all the local authorities to accelerate and unblock permits and solve technical issues


• Represent UF on the local authorities and community


• Correct and keep GIS up to date


• Escort crews for works on COs and UF/NOVA buildings.

It would be great if you have:

• Proven Experience on civil and optic fiber works


• Knowledge of fiber technologies and materials


• Knowledge of safety procedures, techniques, and equipment


• Problem solving, analytical skills to assess special situations.


• Organization and planning skills to prioritize and balance work.
