Job Title: Site – HR Leader
Department: Human Resources
Location: Mumbai
Job Summary:
The Site HR Leader acts as a strategic partner to business leaders, leading the HRBP function across a headcount of 5000+ employees. This role is responsible for driving employee engagement, retention, diversity, and culture across business units while ensuring operational and strategic HR excellence. The role requires a highly proactive, people-centric, and hands on leader with a strong ability to influence and align people strategy with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnership
- Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning HR strategy with business outcomes
- Drive workforce readiness and organization design to support growth and transformation
- Champion strategic HR initiatives with measurable impact
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle: hire to retire
- Ensure consistent delivery of onboarding, performance management, talent development, and exits
- Implement scalable HR processes for a high-volume workforce
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Lead initiatives that improve e NPS, employee satisfaction, and workplace culture
- Design and execute engagement strategies that are inclusive, data-backed, and action oriented
- Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and people-first culture
Attrition Management & Retention
- Analyze trends and reasons for attrition across various levels
- Design and implement retention frameworks, especially for associate and agent populations
- Engage with business heads to address people risks proactively
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
- Champion DEI efforts to build a more inclusive, representative workforce
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DEI into hiring, development, and promotion processes
People Analytics
• Use data and insights to drive decisions around performance, engagement, attrition, and workforce planning
• Build a strong analytics-driven HRBP culture
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience in IT & BPO sectors
- Experience managing a large-scale workforce
- Proven track record in leading HRBP teams and initiatives
Key Skills and Competencies
- Strategic thinking with strong operational depth
- Affable, influential, and highly people-centric leadership style
- Expertise in employee lifecycle management and organizational development
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms and in HR Analytics
- High emotional intelligence and ability to manage complex people issues
Work Environment and Conditions
- Full-time position based in Chennai
- May involve occasional travel across Bangalore.
