HauteChaudière Wind Farm is
part of Quebec's energy transition, which aims to increase the province's wind
power production capacity. It consists of 20 wind turbines with a combined
capacity of 124 MW. This clean, renewable energy source will be integrated into
Hydro-Québec's transmission and distribution network. 
The wind farm is located on private and
public lands, in a forested area in the territories of the municipalities of
Frontenac, Audet and the Town of Lac-Mégantic in the MRC du Granit.
