Role Definition

  • Provide leadership to site supervisors to ensure efficient execution of cable installation activities.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to facilitate project operations.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client representatives, addressing concerns promptly.
  • Prepare progress reports and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
  • Act as interface between clients and contractors, overseeing civil works and infrastructure execution.
  • Supervise subcontractor execution in accordance with plans and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain focus on technical logistics and HSE issues.
  • Serve as technical liaison within the project, reporting outcomes of meetings and technical discussions.

    • Qualification

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management or site supervision roles, ideally within the power cable or offshore sectors;
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, including coordination of multiple subcontractors and stakeholders;
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff members;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality standards;
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards for cable installation and electrical infrastructure;
  • Resistance to stress;
  • Strong synthesis and writing skills;
  • Fluency in English and German, both spoken and written;
  • Willingness to travel to project sites.

    • Conditions

    Remote working may be possible during preparatory works; local presence in north of Germany is mandatory during execution/construction phase.
