Role Description

• Job Title: Site Manager PEB
• Reports To: Project Manager / Construction Head
• Location: Chennai/ Coimbatore
• Team Size: 15-30 (Labour, Welders, Riggers, QC, Subcontractors)
• Type: Full Time (Site Based)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end PEB erection - from foundation interface to final handover
• Plan weekly work fronts, manpower, crane schedule, material call-offs
• Enforce strict QA/QC: alignment, bolt torque, weld NDT, paint DFT, roof/cladding seal
• Interface with structural engineer, client, fabricator & local authorities
• Manage safety compliance (PPE, fall arrest, scaffolding, toolbox talks)
• Track daily logs, RFIs, variations, delays - report to head office weekly
• Commission & hand over "as-built" drawings + O&M manuals

Must have Qualifications:

• 5 - 8 yrs PEB / steel construction (site lead level)
• Proficient in IS 800, IS 875, NBC, and international codes if applicable
• Hands-on with total stations, laser levels, micrometers for alignment
• MS Excel / Primavera / Project for scheduling & cost tracking
• Ability to travel / stay on-site
