Job Summary

This role is for a Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager responsible for driving site-wide operational excellence through structured problem-solving, Lean methodologies, and cultural transformation. The position requires a hands-on leader with expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and performance analytics. As a key driver of productivity and efficiency, this role will establish a multi-year CI roadmap, lead high-impact improvement projects, and support cross-functional teams in identifying and resolving systemic issues.

Roles & Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for establishing a multi-year Continuous Improvement (CI) roadmap to drive world-class operational performance and align with strategic site objectives.

• You will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing improvement opportunities across value streams and support functions, using structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.

• You will be responsible for executing high-impact CI projects using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other methodologies to eliminate waste, reduce bottlenecks, and improve productivity.

• You will be responsible for tracking equipment performance using metrics such as OEE, MTBF, and MTTR, and leading initiatives to optimize asset utilization and reliability.

• You will be responsible for providing timely and accurate MIS updates—including cost improvement dashboards and savings reports—to site leadership and project stakeholders.

• You will be responsible for coaching teams on Lean and OE tools, facilitating workshops, and setting up visual management systems to sustain improvements and foster team ownership.

• You will be responsible for promoting a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and accountability through daily team engagements, huddles, and recognition programs.

• You will be responsible for supporting Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) and coordinating cross-functional Lean projects to enhance agility, responsiveness, and operational effectiveness.


Qualifications

Educational qualification-Graduation in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, pharmacy or related field is mandatory

Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) and Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt) is preferred

JIPM is preferred.

Minimum work Experience-  10+ years of experience

• Experience in Lean Six Sigma project execution, process audits and compliance with operational and quality standards  is desired.

• Exposure to data analysis and reporting in transformation projects to track process performance, quality improvements, and change management is preferred.

• Experience in FMEA and Root Cause Analysis to optimize costs and productivity is desired.

• Exposure to Lean tools such as Kaizen, VSM, or SMED for throughput improvement, changeover time reduction, and labour/material optimization is preferred.
