About the role

The Site Preparation Miner is part of the Mining Operations team. He/she helps prepare the site for production at the different underground levels where gold-bearing ore is extracted.

• Site preparation for production drilling
• Install anchor cables for secondary support
• Prepare excavation for work sites
• Set up lifelines and barricades
• Help set up water, air and ventilation services
• Prepare sites for backfilling (ventilation wall, bumper, etc.)
• Comply with, know and promote company regulations and policies,
• Particularly in terms of health and safety and the environment.
