Indusface is hiring for a talented, enthusiastic individual passionate about all aspects of IT infrastructure operations to join us as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Job Description:

Monitor and maintain availability of cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot, identify, and resolve production level infrastructure related issues.

Troubleshoot live production issues including service availability, SSL, performance issues under tight deadlines.

Respond to priority incidents, conduct thorough investigation, and ensure permanent closure of the incidents.

Work with support team in customer issues investigation and information gathering, applying infrastructure specific workarounds etc.

Assist pre-sales in onboarding customers to self-hosted (AMI, OVF) or SaaS environment.

Collaborate with production support team in identifying product related issues.

Automation of monitoring, information analysis, incident response, deployments

Be part of on-call schedule as needed and based on the requirement to be on call during odd hours.

Candidate Profile:

2+ years professional experience with a significant portion using AWS for mid to large size deployment.

High level understanding of network (TCP/IP or OSI reference model) and functioning of HTTP protocol.

Expertise in Linux including shell scripting.

Experience working with reverse proxy, webservers, load balancers cluster management software and CDN services.

Experience deploying and scaling high traffic services in the cloud; preferably AWS.

Passionate about efficiency and performance and getting the optimal solution for customer.

Strong interpersonal and communications skills (including oral, written as well as active listening)

Fast learner, flexible and able to work well within a cross-functional team environment.

Nice to have :

Experience in Linux performance tuning

Hands on with git and configuration management tool.
